The studio includes artistic and educational programs and workshops in traditional crafts and contemporary arts to enhance national identity, teach visual arts of all kinds and techniques, and spread the benefit to all members of society of all ages and in all regions of the emirates of the country, particularly remote areas, to reach the greatest number of community members in this area in a better and more comprehensive manner.
In addition to being a mobile art platform, Kenaz Arts Studio provides an opportunity for all members of society to showcase their crafts and artistic works, as well as their creativity in various forms of traditional crafts and arts, in an innovative and exclusive space. In addition, the studio arranges volunteer work and educational programs that help students develop their creative skills and get experience communicating with the public, all of which help them get ready for the workplace of the future.
Kenaz envisions a vibrant art culture within the UAE’s remote regions, where individuals of all ages embrace and actively participate in contemporary art and traditional practices. Preserve and promote traditional crafts such as weaving “Al Khoos” “Talli,” “Al Sadu,’’ and indigenous art forms, ensuring their continuity and recognition among younger generation
Create a network of mobile art studios traveling across various regions, schools, and public spaces within rural areas monthly, offering workshops, exhibitions, and competitions to encourage active participation in contemporary art and traditional practices.
Educate and raise awareness about the value and significance of contemporary art, enriching the understanding of its history and relevance within the UAE’s cultural tapestry.
